Looking to learn stained glass art?  Why not sign up for Christina's Stained Glass Art Class.

Beginning stained glass class is suited for anyone who wants to understand what the art form is all about. Instruction will be provided in the Tiffany copper foil method of stained glass. The class meets once a week for 6 weeks (18 hours total). Each class session is 3 hours in duration.  In the beginner classes, you’ll learn how to convert a pattern into glass pieces, then assemble with solder to create a lasting piece of art.  Skills will include using patterns, cutting glass, applying copper foil, and soldering.  Please note, most of the stained glass process involves standing.

Stained Glass Open Studio provides time and space to work on your glass projects. Join those who share in the enjoyment this craft has to offer. This session also allows time for the more advanced artist to work on your projects with guidance and assistance as necessary.  Prerequisite: Individuals must have participated in the beginner class.

Classes are for 6 weeks/ 3 hours duration each week.

General Information: To reserve your spot, a deposit of $40 is required. Remaining balance to be paid at first class. 

Schedule:

Spring Session: Week beginning April 1, 2024. 

Classes: One day per week, 3 hours per class, 6 weeks total.

Choose from the following sessions:

                   Monday 5:00-8:00 PM -3 hours classes (Open Studio- 2 spots available)

          Tuesday 9:00am - 12:00 Noon - 3 hour classes (Open Studio and Beginner Class -3 spots available)

                  Tuesday 5:30-8:30 PM -3 hours classes (Open Studio- one spot available)

          Thursday 5:30-8:30 PM -3 hours classes (Beginner Class Only- four people are required to hold this class)

Introduction Price :   

Open studio - $120 (+$5 liquid fee-if you do not have your own chemicals.  Liquid fee: chemicals that are consumable with exception of Kwik Clean.)

Beginner Stained Glass Class $155, stained glass not included. Stained glass is sold separately, and cost for your project can vary.  Project costs are approximately $40 to $60. 

Liability Forms:  Signed Liability forms are required to attend. 

Attire:  For your safety, closed toed shoes, no slip on shoes with heel exposed, and pants are required.  Gloves are highly encouraged for handling glass. 

Payment Information:  Cash and check are always accepted.  All forms of credit card payments when using a chip credit card.  With the use of a credit card, a 4% service fee would be applied to your purchase. 

Additional information will be sent upon sign up.  This will include beginner patterns to choose from, studio operation, and what to expect day one of class.
